Souvenir Friday- Costume and Wardrobe Patches

One of the larger departments that touches almost everyone at Disneyland is the Wardrobe department. The cast members who work in the department do have their own patches, a small patch with a nice design featuring a clothes hanger.

One of the more unusual departments are the cast members who work with, repair and assist the characters. Since the location looks like a zoo with all the animals heads, they call themselves the Zoo Crew and proudly wore this patch.

I have several T-shirts with this graphic on it as well.

    You know, I can't even look at patches with wire hangers without thinking of Joan Crawford.

    The Zoo Crew patch was worn by characters only (no support staff -- at least at Disneyland, can't speak for WDW). It was affixed to soft cotton light-blue/medium-blue striped t-shirts. Sometime around 78-79, the logo was printed on white t-shirts which slowly replaced the patched t-shirts. Thanks always for the great posts!
