Pulling another of the large size photograph from my collection, this time another shot of the Mark Twain. It appears to have been a favorite image of the talented amateur photographers who were competing in the various camera club events of the 1950s. This one is a nice view with the stern wheel paddle and the edge of the dock at Fowler's Harbor.
It's probably the Highest of Blasphemies, but whenever I see pictures of the Mark Twain, I hear the old Hanna-Barbera theme from "The New Adventures of Huck Finn"
ReplyDeleteInteresting that you posted a COLOR file of a B&W picture. How do I know you say? Right around the back windows of the Mk T, you can see a little color reflection in your shot. Cool!
