Talking Drums at Disneyland
A nice close up view of two of the performers at the Indian Village dance circle. The two Native Americans who spoke through their drums and provided the music for the dancers. In the background is the beloved and lost Fort Wilderness.
I don't know their names, but I've seen these two performers in other slides. It's kind of like seeing a photo and recognizing somebody you went to school with!
Nice picture! Was this from a slide? It looks like a professional took it. Great framing and timing on this, it looks better than most of the publicity stills! Thanks!
This is from a slide. I believer the photographer was in the military and worked as a photogrpaher but this was not a posed shot. I think the slides are from the late 1950s. I have some more to post from the same photographer.
