Frontierland Central Ticket Booth

A rare shot of the Frontierland Central Ticket Booth. It appears to be on the Western edge of Frontierland in front of the Haunted Mansion. I believe there is a soft drink stand at approximately the same location now. The theming of the building and roof line are an approximate match to the Frontierland Railroad Station.

  1. Another great one! Have really enjoyed your JC/Sub behind the scenes photos, too. Definitely NOT the posts of a slacker!

  3. Wow, neat rare shot of this ticket booth. I agree, there is a soda stand there now, just opposite of the Churro stand. I remember this ticket booth in the 70’s (it might have been themed differently by then, anyone know?). I remember buying “E” tickets for the haunted mansion with the money I was supposed to save for dinner!

I love the prices! I have a couple of the “5-E ticket books for $2.40” – These and the individual tickets sold at these booths (theater style little tickets) are very rare as they were purchased (like me) to use right then, rarely left over like the A & B tickets from a booklet. Speaking of A & B tickets, notice those aren’t even for sale at this booth, Only “C” ticket rides and higher were in this part of Disneyland!.

I love this photo, any chance you can email the larger scan????

    Thanks so much for posts!!!

  4. COOL...it really does look like a mini Frontierland Station (or Grizzly Flats).

Thank you so much! I have a photo of me as a toddler with this in the background- now I can identify where I was!
