He moved from 20th Century Fox to the Walt Disney Studio in 1952. Irvine became a senior figure at Walt Disney Imagineering.<br /><br />Until his retirement in 1973, Dick headed design and planning for all Disneyland attractions, ranging from the Haunted Mansion to Pirates of the Caribbean.<br /><br />Irvine became executive vice president and chief operations officer at Walt Disney Imagineering in 1967.<br /><br />The short gentleman is Marvin Davis (not Marc Davis).
