All are Disneylands first Christmas 1955 not 1956 and are some super rare images of the park during the first Christmas Season 1955.Thank You so much for sharing these!! Just before
Christmas 1956 (December 20) Disney released the sixth "People and Places" film, "Disneyland, U.S.A.", to theaters.
In the beginning of the movie there is a fantastic "Flyover" of the park (probably the helicopter). It shows the Gazebo in its second location - between the Plantation House, the Jungle Cruise, and the Frontierland
Train Station.Sometime during 1956 the Gazebo was moved (before Christmas 1956). Also there are no flag poles in front of either the Circarama or Monsanto buildings in your images. The flag poles were moved in front of the buildings sometime between January and March of 1956 (from the Court of Honor)and would have to be visable if these images were Christmas 1956.
The Flyover footage also supports this since it also has a brief glimpse of the Tomorrowlands Avenue of Flags. These images are
so cool and important because they are the very first Christmas in the park 1955. Thanks again for your all of your hard work with
your Blog!!!!!!!
