I think it didnt do very well - one reason is always was blazing hot there.
But looking at the prices - it does seem pretty cheap - even for 1980! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19940374.post-70775462445732422722009-11-16T15:11:23.659-08:002009-11-16T15:11:23.659-08:00Different Anonymous here...

I have mentioned elsewhere, that was my Dad's favorite place, we would often have a light breakfast there on entering the park before i was old enough to ride the Matterhorn. After that, I would run ahead to ride that and skip breakfast...

i remember the toast with cream cheese, it sounded so weird to me...now its sounds good...

thanks for a memory!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19940374.post-41642655346973967982009-11-09T22:11:29.965-08:002009-11-09T22:11:29.965-08:00The Tahitian Terrace shared the same kitchen with ...The Tahitian Terrace shared the same kitchen with the Plaza Pavilion, on the Adventureland side of the street. Plaza Inn divided into sides in the summer, with the left side staying buffet style (as the PI) and the right side becoming the Plaza Terrace, with a hostess, waiters and the finer foods. Both had inside and outside dining. I worked there in the early 80's. The kitchen was also shared with the Inn Between - for cast members - which is just behind the PI.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19940374.post-65340324377641596562009-11-06T12:30:13.878-08:002009-11-06T12:30:13.878-08:00Also, the 5% sales tax would appear to date the me...Also, the 5% sales tax would appear to date the menu from the late 1960s to the early 1970s (basically as you said!):

http://www.boe.ca.gov/sutax/taxrateshist.htmJason Schultzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13193194008194991219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19940374.post-1428084811997422882009-11-06T12:24:43.322-08:002009-11-06T12:24:43.322-08:00Matterhorn, the term "Plaza Terrace" ref...Matterhorn, the term "Plaza Terrace" refers to the outside dining area of the Plaza Inn. I have it referenced in Your Guide to Disneyland Fall/Winter 1978-1979 and Disneyland: Your Souvenir Guide for 1984 (4/1984). The 1984 guide says, "Table service on Plaza Terrace during summer months (dinner only)."Jason Schultzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13193194008194991219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19940374.post-17651040006204909762009-11-06T08:12:34.204-08:002009-11-06T08:12:34.204-08:00I didn't know about that Hills Bros. menu, zow...I didn't know about that Hills Bros. menu, zowie!
